Felipe Rojas is an assistant professor of archaeology at the Joukowsky Institute and the Department of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies at Brown University. He has conducted fieldwork in Western Turkey, primarily at Sardis and Aphrodisias, for over a decade; more recently he has been part of Brown University’s Petra Archaeological Project in Jordan. This summer he intends to work in Labraunda alongside Dr. Olivier Henry. He is currently writing a book about Greek, Roman and Byzantine interaction with the Bronze and Iron Age material culture of Anatolia to be published by Cambridge University Press (in the Greek Culture in the Roman World Series).
