•    Deadline for submitting applications: 12 June 2012 •    Project assessment, selection and notification: October 2012 ENVI-Med programme aims to support the internationalization of research in the Mediterranean, to strengthen the high-level collaborations with Mediterranean countries on the basis of mutual benefit and to contribute to the regional integration of the least developed countries in all aspects of the field of study of Mediterranean Basin operation by promoting excellence in research and support for Euro-Mediterranean scientific communities. ENVI-Med aims to initiate multilateral cooperation by supporting the mobility of researchers as part of joint research projects and seminars, workshops and regional scientific conferences. Grand succès de la conférence d’Antoine Grumbach du 13 mars 2012

L’IFEA a invité Antoine Grumbach, l’un des lauréats de la consultation pour les projets du Grand Paris et organisé avec le YEM (Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi), le 13 mars 2012 à YEM, une conférence et un panel « Un regard comparatif sur les projets urbains à İstanbul »  animé par Nora Şeni avec les participations de: Antoine Grumbach (architecte) ; Nora Şeni (Directrice de l’IFEA) ; Korhan Gümüş (Taksim Platformu, Président de l’Association des établissements humains) ; Murat Güvenç (Université Şehir); Güzin Kaya (Université Mimar Sinan) et  Hüseyin Kaptan (Atelye 70). IFEA, Büyük Paris kentsel dönüşüm yarışmasında seçilen 10 projeden birinin sahibi mimar Antoine Grumbach’ı davet etti ve Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi(YEM) ile 13 Mart 2012‘deYEM’de Antoine Grumbach konferansı ve moderatörlüğünü Nora Şeni’nin yaptığı İstanbul’daki Kentsel Projelere Karşılaştırmalı Bakış konulu bir panel düzenledi. The Newton International Fellowships

Deadline: 16th of April, 2012 For further information: http://www.newtonfellowships.org/ The Newton International Fellowship scheme will select the very best early stage post-doctoral researchers from all over the world, and offer support for two years at UK research institutions. The long-term aim of the scheme is to build a global pool of research leaders and encourage long-term international collaboration with the UK. The Newton International Fellowships scheme is run by The British Academy and the Royal Society. The Fellowships cover the broad range of physical, natural and social sciences and the humanities. They provide grants of £24,000 per annum to cover subsistence and up to £8,000 per annum to cover research expenses, plus a one-off relocation allowance of up to £2,000.
