TMMOB Mimarlar Odası İstanbul Büyükkent Şubesi 1-12 Ekim 2012 Mimarlar Odası İstanbul Büyükkent Şubesi, her yıl ekim ayının ilk pazartesi günü tüm dünyada Uluslararası Mimarlar Birliği’nin belirlediği tema çerçevesinde kutlanan Dünya Mimarlık Günü nedeniyle, Mimarlık ve Kent Şenliği adı altında bir dizi etkinlik düzenliyor. Uluslararası Mimarlar Birliği (UIA) bu yıl 1 Ekim 2012′de kutlanacak Dünya Mimarlık Günü temasını “Daha İyi Kentler, Daha İyi Yaşamlar / Mimarlıkla Değişen Kentler” olarak belirledi. UIA bu temayla, Birleşmiş Milletler’in dünya çapındaki “Daha İyi Kentler, Daha İyi Yaşamlar” konulu kentlere yönelik kampanyasıyla başlatmış olduğu harekete katkıda bulunmayı amaçlıyor. “Daha İyi Kentler, Daha İyi Yaşamlar / Mimarlıkla Değişen Kentler” teması çerçevesinde bu yıl sekizincisi gerçekleştirilecek olan Mimarlık ve Kent Şenliği etkinlikleri, 1 Ekim 2012 Pazartesi günü
Typology, Theory: Caucasus is a 3-day conference on the languages of the Caucasus to be held at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul on November 29–December 1, 2012, co-hosted by the French Research Institute (IFEA). We welcome contributions on the analysis of the languages of the area, including diachronic aspects, as well as papers discussing the challenges these languages present to theoretical frameworks in linguistics. The first two days of the conference (Thu, Fri) will be held at Boğaziçi University (click here for a map), the last day (Sat) at the French Research Institute (IFEA) (click here for a map). The expected paper should be an abstract of no more than a page (5,000 characters maximum, spaces included) along with a short curriculum vitae. It should precise fieldwork and methodology.
