Hedlund » in Opuscula : Annual of the Swedish Institutes at Athens and Rome no5, 2012 Abstract The main goals of the 2011 campaign were the excavation of the Kepez tower, the West Church and the necropoleis. The tower of Kepez was excavated and black-gloss pottery indicates a date in the 3rd century BC. The 2011 excavations in the West Church uncovered three Late Roman and Byzantine building phases. Among the finds from Late Antiquity was a well-preserved glass lamp with a Greek inscription and a marble figurine, possibly representing an apostle or a saint. Konu Kentin son elli yıldır yapımına damgasını vuran gecekondu olgusu çoğunlukla bir sorun olarak görülmüştür; şehrin görüntüsünü bozan, işgalci bir yıkım gücü. Halbuki, doğaçlama usülü kent yapımı diye adlandırabileceğimiz bu süreç kente göçle gelenlerin barınma ihtiyaçlarını çözmek üzere tüm kültürel sermayelerini ve insiyatiflerini ortaya döktükleri bir yaratıcılık konusu olarak da ele alınabilir. Gecekonduda basit bir barınma ihtiyacından yola çıkılarak insanların bizzat yarattıklarının bir bina olmanın çok ötesinde bir yaşam alanı, bir mahalle, bir kent parçası olduğunu görüyoruz. Doğaçlama kent yapımı sürecinde insanlar yarattıkları her bir dokunun bilgisine ve hafızasına sahipler, bu yüzden yarattıkları yaşam alanlarının kendileri için anlamı var. Décembre 2012 Nous présentions le mois dernier Kayseri, la ville aux quatre universités (dont deux d’État), ce mois-ci nous présentons Trabzon, la ville portuaire aux huit consulats – dont cinq honoraires, il est vrai (consulats généraux de Géorgie, d’Iran et de Russie, consulats honoraires d’Allemagne, du Panama, de Macédoine, d’Estonie et de Slovaquie) – qui a récemment rejoint Kayseri au rang de Büyükşehir Belediyesi (loi 6360 du 12/11/2012). Enjeux et mise en œuvre de la restitution d’œuvres culturelles

A lire, dans le quotidien Cumhuriyet l’éditorial d’Özgen ACAR (‘Kavşak’) consacré à la question du trafic international d’œuvres culturelles (en pleine expansion sur fond de crise économique), de leurs répercussions sur les relations internationales, de l’importance de la sensibilisation de la population et du rôle joué par les institutions telles que l’UNESCO, du besoin de dialogue entre les pays concernés, au-delà de la convention de 1970 qui visait à mettre à plat le droit international en terme de restitution d’œuvres. « Il est trois domaines qui ne souffrent pas de la crise économique : les trafics d’arme, de drogue et d’œuvres culturelles », c’est ainsi que débute le dernier éditorial (27/11/2012, en turc) d’Özgen Acar sur lequel nous rebondissons.
