Burçak MADRAN

Après avoir terminé une licence au département de design industriel de la facutlé d’architecture de l’Université du Moyen Orient (METÜ), Burçak Madran a fait une licence d’histoire de l’art et d’archéologie à l’Université d’Aix-en-Provence puis une maîtrise en “archéologie et patrimoine méditerranéen”. Elle a participé aux fouilles de sauvetage du centre ville de Beyrouth (Syrie) ainsi qu’aux fouilles de Tanis (Egypte) supervisées par l’UNESCO avant de rentrer en Turquie. En Turquie, elle a contribué au projet de Musée urbain d’Istanbul (Tarih Vakfı) et aux expositions du Centre culturel de Yapı Kredi. En parallèle, elle a commencé à donner des cours de muséologie (niveau master) à l’Université Yıldız Teknik. Entre 1999 et 2005, elle a été chargée de cours au département

Ces structures exceptionnelles sont encore peu connues, elles révèlent pourtant l’incroyable richesse du patrimoine culturel et archéologique turc. A cet égard, on s’attachera particulièrement au cas de la région carienne qui a récemment fait l’objet de toutes les attentions du milieu archéologique par la mise au jour d’une structure funéraire monumentale au coeur de la ville de Milas.
