Ethnographic fieldwork is carried out since October 2013 among Christian religious groups in Istanbul. Our main problem is to understand how pentecostal organizations conciliate both global presence and local anchorage. This involves networks of religious actors we depict as immigrants and/or autochthons, drawing attention on their singular approaches of thereness and hereness. Repenser les politiques culturelles locales

Cette recherche analyse la formation de politiques et d’action culturelles localement, ainsi que leur effet sur la construction des territoires locaux d’une part et sur les conceptions de la culture d’autre part. Elle a ainsi pour ambition de produire un questionnement nouveau sur l’action culturelle en Turquie, en décentrant le regard – les recherches ayant beaucoup porté sur les métropoles, notamment Istanbul, et embrassé un questionnement national. Une journée d’études a été organisée en avril 2015 sur cette thématique dans le cadre du projet ANR Transfaire. Il est porté par Muriel Girard, Cilia Martin, Jean-François Polo, Clémence Scalbert Yücel, Lydia Zeghmar.

La transmission d’une éthique au sein du milieu folklorique de Tire (Turquie)»Lydia ZeghmarLaboratoire d’Ethnologie et de Sociologie Comparative (Université Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense)Directeur de thèse : Michael Houseman A partir d’une enquête ethnographique de longue durée à Tire, une ville moyenne située dans la province d’Izmir dans la région égéenne en Turquie, cette recherche doctorale s’attache à la description et à l’analyse des initiatives locales – associatives, institutionnelles voire individuelles – dans le champ de la promotion du répertoire musico-chorégraphique zeybek. Ce travail s’attache tout particulièrement au champ de la danse. En effet, historiquement, la danse folklorique s’est avéré une activité particulièrement efficace dans le façonnement et la production d’un sujet national.
