Cartographie de l’IFEA sur Gallica

Bibliothèques d’Orient Juillet 2017 : Une partie des collections de cartes de l’IFEA est maintenant accessible via l’interface de la BnF : Gallica via le portail thématique : Bibliothèques d’Orient. Dans un premier temps, les documents présentés, sont des cartes rares, non présentent dans les bibliothèques en Europe. Cette database se compose de documents en Ottomans (cartes topographiques à plusieurs échelles) et documents sur la ville d’Istanbul et la Turquie (plans d’assurances, cadastres, cartes diverses). Le programme de digitalisation des bibliothèques d’Orient continu sur trois années et va permettre d’intégrer des documents cartographiques rares, notamment d’institution partenaires de l’IFEA (bibliothèques de monastères en Turquie).
