The seminar titled « Political dimension of public space », will be held jointly by Institut français du Proche-Orient (IFPO) and Institut Français d’Études Anatoliennes (IFEA). The seminar will be held hybrid on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, between 14:00 – 16:00 (french time). The presentation will be in English. Panelist Sibel Akyıldız will present: « Environment as a political and social transformation tool in modern Turkey: the case of Validebağ Grove in Istanbul » and Petra Samaha will participate with the presentation « The multiple public(s) of Lebanon: space tensions and representations ».
